For over 25 years, as joan vass, new orleans and joanvass.com,
we built a nice, little business purveying the complete line of classic joan vass®
and joan vass, USA® styles that we all love

As time moved on and the fashion world changed, one by one, the classic
styles were gradually removed from the Joan Vass® collections

As these much loved classic styles disappeared, our customers called year
after year, looking for the styles that they had worn for so long

Finally, in the wake of hurricane Katrina that left our business in tatters,
we created new orleans knitwear - our own collection of luxury knitwear
rooted in the spirit of the original Joan Vass®
collections that we missed so much

In new orleans knitwear you will find the simple, clean lines
that you have always known, but with perfect improvements. 
Improvements that include luxurious, 100% Peruvian cotton yarn,
better tailoring for the perfect fit and new styles that
adhere to the belief that clean, simple lines never go out of style
