L148’s resident artist utilized the traditional art technique of cyanotype printing to create Pre-Fall 2024’s “Shadow” artwork, laying twigs—foraged from Marfa, Texas—atop specially coated paper and harnessing the sun to capture their natural silhouetted forms. These irregular imprints were reinterpreted many ways throughout the collection.
